Totally taken by surprise here. This is one of the best things I've heard in recent days. That album cover didn't have me expecting such astounding waves of suffering and hard-to-name feelings. Let's be clear, this is raw, harsh, and excruciatingly beautiful. Atmospheric BM with pagan and somewhat folky accents to what the band declares as folk-horror-inspired.
