Not really a particularly strong album. Dirt Metal is definitely Thunderstone's weakest album, although the limit was already lowered quite a bit with the previous Evolution 4.0. The song material is simply not very convincing, and Rick Altz's vocal performance is quite ear-wrenching to listen to. I can't recommend it, although the album's heavy soundscape might appeal to some.
