지난 5월 20일 베르세르크의 작가 미우라 켄타로의 타계 소식이 언론을 통해 전해졌습니다.
사망일은 5월 6일, 사인은 급성 대동맥 박리, 향년 54세.
작가 생전에 베르세르크의 완결을 볼 수가 있을까? 라는 많은 팬들의 농담 같은 푸념이 결국
비극적인 현실로 다가온 순간이었습니다.

"타의 추종을 불허하는 지독한 완벽주의자" 이보다 더 적합한 그의 묘비명이 있을까 싶습니다.
제게도 다양하고 수많은 영감을 주었던 예술가인 고인의 명복을 빕니다.
