6. Seasons of a Warrior (3:52)
Gathered 'round the fireplace,
Dark figures count away their days.
For long they've roamed and far from home,
Their autumn it has come.

The ale is poured, the pig is roast,
And through the night they start to boast.
Adventures had and friends long dead,
The honour it is great.

They talk about that happy times,
When they were still well in their primes,
Their spring is lost at what great cost,
Oh, how the years go by.

Their summer's spent on battlefields,
Their castles built, great was their yield.
High in their wealth, top of their health,
Oh what kings they were.

Now that their winter came at last,
These old warriors must put to rest,
They do depart but in their hearts,
Together they'll remain.

The seasons come and seasons go,
But in our hearts we all do know,
Pride must remain without an end,
For those from whom we descent.
