Strength Review
April 2, 2021
My most played album #762. Enuff Z'nuff - Strength. Realeased in 1991 with one of my all time favorite songs, "Mother's Eyes" some of my all time favorite lyrics. But wait there's more great songs. "The World Is A Gutter" another great song with amazing lyrics. "Baby Loves You" the second single off the album another great song. Sadly this album only peaked at #143 in the United States.
Isn't it wrong and isn't is strange
That a man goes by the color of his face
And isn't it time we've drawn the line
And decided to become a human race, yeah
Behind that mother's eyes
What makes a man so tough
That he don't care if anybody lives or dies
Give him some love, give him some love
Night after night, I say the same prayer
And if any body's listening out there
Give it a break, it's all give and take
But the takin' and givin' isn't fair, yeah
I'm just a man who don't understand
Why is one man not just like another man
Nothing can change 'til we arrange
All of life's important fingers on one hand.

My most played album #1068. Enuff Z'nuff - Live 1998. Sounds like the Beatles made a record with Def Leppard. Some hippie love turned up on speed and LSD. A sadly overlooked great band! Lots of fun songs on this CD. Two hits, "New Thing" U.S. Mainstream Rock #35 and "Fly High Michelle" U.S. Mainstream Rock #27. More great songs "Baby Loves You", “In Crowd”, killer blues “...
