I've been exploring Mexican metal bands that I want to add to my battle vest. The reason I'm doing this is because I'm a metalhead in Wisconsin of Mexican descent that wants to present my heritage. Brujeria and particularly this album fits the bill perfectly for my tastes.

I'm aware Jello Biafra from the Dead Kennedys was already gone by the time this album was released but his influence shows. I've certainly fell in love with this band and how faithful this album is to the grindcore sound. Easily this album shows that Brujeria is the Mexican Napalm Death and having songs relevant to Hispanic issues like immigration are there.

I know very little Spanish but I can easily rock to this and I'm sure if I shared this with my Honduran brother-in-law, he would more than relate. 10/10
