Darkthrone 의 최근모습 + 더욱더 개성만점의 곡들. 더이상 설명이 필요없게된 Peste Noire 입니다. Avantgarde 한 모습은 1집 이후 부터 돋보였지만, 멜로디 자체가 심플하고 간결해진 점은 전작에 비해안정감을 높였습니다. 듣기에 무난해진 점, 특히 Darkthrone 의 후반기 요소 의 특성인 펑크적인 멜로디 느낌까지 뭔가 다양해진 리듬으로 만들어진 결과는 역시! 나 하게끔 하는 최악은 아니지만 블랙메틀의 요소를 인위적인 짜집기 한 느낌은 지워지지 않는게 다음 작품을 기대케? 합니다.

분명 이 앨범의 문제점은 단순히 매너리즘 혹은 개인 능력의 부재가 아닐 것이다. 왜냐면 이런 현상은 수많은 블렉메탈 밴드들 사이에서 보여지고 있는 것이며 Darkthrone과 같은 대부격의 밴드들도 같이 겪고 있는 문제이기 때문이다. 새로운 시도 혹은 변화는 언제나 큰 반향을 일으킨다.
