국내 메탈씬에서 국악과의 결합이라는 테마는 많은 밴드들이 사용했던 음악적 방법론의 하나였다. 가장 기억에 남는 것은 신해철의 Go With The Light로, 사물놀이패와 창가, 블루스 락 리듬의 콜라보를 통해 성공적인 크로스 오버를 들려준 바 있었다. 그에 비해, 본작은 기존의 바탕은 메탈에 두고 적절히 판소리의 감성과 사운드를 도입하였다고 볼 수 있겠다. 무엇보다도, 흥부전이나 님은 먼곳에 등 우리나라 사람들에게 익숙한 테마와 곡을 이용했다는 것도 주목된다. Downhell에서 들려준 강력한 헤비메탈 보컬이 흐느낌으로 변해 깔끔하고 건조한 기타리프와 함께 들을 수 있어서 색다르고도 멋진 경험을 선사한다.
