십대의 끝자락부터 아트롹계열의 음악을 찾아듣곤 했는데 이십대에 접어들면서 알게된 제임스갱도 아트롹 계열인줄 알고 샀다가 구매당시 이도저도 아닌듯한 음악스탈에 그닥 큰 관심을 두지 않았는데 후에 딥퍼플의 그 타미볼린임을 알고 다시 찾게 되었던 기억이 있다. 이 앨범은 밴드명과 앨범타이틀이 교묘하게 James Gang Bang이라는 연결을 만들고 자켓에 한명의 여자와 네명의 남자로 둘러싸고 있는데 음악도 그만큼의 끈적임이 넘쳐난다. 타미볼린의 기타가 그걸 표현해 내고 있고 그래서 대단한 것 같다.
