조 월시와 함께했던 1, 2, 3집에서 뽑은 제임스 갱 베스트. 몇해전에 구매했던 LP인데 '대성음반'이란 곳에서 발매되었길래 국내용 컴필인줄 알았지만 73년 MCA에서 정식배포된 앨범이다. 그들의 초기 정규작을 구하기 힘든 것도 있지만 이 베스트에 담긴 그들의 음악은 참으로 다양하며 조 월시가 아메리칸 하드롹에 큰 획을 그읏다는 것에 동의할 수 밖에 없다.
