Crematory are among the less marked and well-known bands, however, they have also released better quality albums during their career, and "Awake" album is one of them. They combine Gothic/Doom Metal with death metal vocals. Growlivg is rather average and monotonous, but it is complemented by excellent melodic singing. The songs are rather simpler, built on melodic keyboards and easy-to-remember riffs, but it works.
