양산형 메탈코어가 넘치는 이 시대에 기존의 요소를 적절히 사용하여 일정 수준 이상의 음악을 뽑아내는 밴드가 존재할 수 있다는 것을 여실히 보여주는 앨범이다. 프록 메탈코어에 걸쳐있다고는 하나 젠트에 가까운 기타 리프진행이 지배적이며, 팝적인 냄새가 물씬 풍기는 클린 보컬 또한 일품이다. 스네어 드럼이 먼저들어가는 더블 베이스 비트와 함께 전개되는 아기자기한 기타 테크닉이 주요 감상포인트이며, 여타의 밴드보다는 덜 복잡한 곡의 구성과 귀에 잘 들어오는 멜로디가 청자를 사로잡는다. 첫 곡인 Alpha Seed의 강렬함과 서정성이 앨범 마지막 트랙까지 유지되고 있으며, 익살스러운 기본 리프의 멜로디가 분위기를 휘어잡는 Prometheus, 장대한 구성의 Dementia가 추천트랙.

Overall enjoyable and quite a journey. The metalcore moments and some of the singing diminish my enjoyment, but I'm guessing that, for metalcore fans, this stuff is well executed. The progressive & djent are the reasons I listened, and Augment delivered some great music in those genres.

초반에 곡이 좋다고 생각이 들다가 중반쯤 왔을 땐 곡 전개가 거기서 거기라 지겹다고 느낄 수 있는 ERRA의 2집. Pulse, Dreamwalkers는 들을만하다

Clean vocals aren't really my thing. At least there're tons of engergetic harmonies of riffs I can enjoy.

근래 들어 이런 스타일의 프록메탈코어가 쏟아져나오면서 심지어 식상해질 판국에, 아주 제대로 멋진 음악을 들려주는 앨범이다. 복잡다단하게 진행되며 리듬감도 잃지 않을 뿐만 아니라, 클린 코러스도 하려면 이렇게 하라!라는 듯이 멜로디도 제대로 살려주는 멋진 앨범이다.
