이 앨범을 듣고 유럽에 대한 태도를 바꿔버리게 되었다. 이 앨범을 계기로 초반기 베스트도 샀고 이 이후 17년도 정규를 제외한 스튜디오를 다 샀으며, 라이브 역시 Live Look at Eden을 제외하고 다 사버렸다. 91년을 마지막으로 서로 다른 곳에서 음악을 하였고 결과적으로 나쁜 결과는 아니었다고 생각한다. 음악적 영감을 낭비하지 않고 13년의 에너지를 쏟은 부활작

"Start From the Dark" is excellent comeback album, harder, less hit and focused on guitars (compared to pompous albums of the past). It is the sixth studio album and was band's first release since reforming in 2003. Lineup feature the band's original guitarist John Norum since 1986's The Final Countdown. Album featured more modern sound compared to Europe's first two albums.

podarené album, oproti predošlej tvorbe o dosť tvrdšie a priamočiarejšie. Poriadne podladené gitary, ale stále kvalitné nápady a melódie. Štýl: Hard Rock/Heavy Metal. Kvalitu albumu som ocenil až neskôr
