Ex Deo의 다른 앨범들은 그닥이지만 이 앨범만큼은 대단히 훌륭. 웅장한 사운드로 심포닉 데스의 완성형을 들려줌. 사운드의 밀도가 좀 낮은 것은 단점. 로마와 카르타고 간의 전쟁을 잘 표현한 덕에 한편의 장대한 전쟁 드라마를 보는 듯함.

A very good symphonic death metal album with an impressive cover art. I had never heard of this band before, and I'm glad I discovered them. The whole Roman concept is truly fascinating, in my opinion.
