Vol.1에 비해이 앨범은 더 근거 있고 덜 불규칙한 소리를 낸다. 그들은 자신의 강점을 다해 연주했고 너무 많은 실험을 시도하지 않았기 때문에 아마도 이번 앨범이 간과되는 것입니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 트랙 목록에는 이전 앨범보다 더 많은 영향이 있습니다. Battle Born, Here to die, Weight Beneath My Sin과 같은 노래는 모두 좋은 노래지만이 앨범의 B-side만큼 좋지는 않습니다. Cold는 Ivan Moody의 훌륭하고 깨끗한 보컬이 이끄는 최고의 발라드 중 하나입니다. 무거운 것을 찾는 사람들에게 Let This Go, A Day in My Life는 훌륭한 트랙입니다. 밴드는 두 볼륨을 모두 하나의 앨범으로 합 쳤어 야했지만 여전히 훌륭한 레코드입니다.

Vol.1 과 약 4개월정도의 간격을 두고 나온 작품으로, 강력한 댐핑감에 멜로디컬한 기타 솔로 등 이들의 장점을 잘 살렸습니다. 다소 밋밋했던 1,2,3집 보다 나아진 퀼리티의 더블 앨범입니다. 굳이 비교하자면 피쳐링도 사운드도 강력했던 Vol.1이 더 좋게 느껴지기는 합니다. The House of the Rising Sun 커버가 일품입니다. 제목과 반대로 석양이 지는듯한 분위기가 좋네요.

이들의 최장점은 힘인데 Vol.1앨범에 모든 힘을 다 주었나보다. 음악 자체는 들을만은 하나 정작 이들에게 기대한 요소가 빠져있다.
