I really liked how the violin was used in some songs to reinforce the depressing atmosphere created throughout the record. In Ventus Est Dolor... is quite an odd gem, and I believe that funeral doom metal fans would enjoy listening to it. However, I'm not very keen on this genre, so I don't think that I will give this album a spin again.
