Obsession na prvom albume "Scarred for life" ponúkajú tradičný old school Heavy Metal. Piesne sú celkom podarené, aj keď ničím moc výrazné a určite nepatria medzi špičku (či už žánru alebo albumov vydaných v danom roku).

마이크 배째라의 최전성기 젊은 시절 보컬을 감상하실 수 있습니다. 기타도 무명인데 비해 실력이 좋고 풋풋한 파워메탈입니다. 이후 라우드니스나 잉베이 시절의 배째라랑은 다른 매력의 보컬을 들으실 수 있습니다. 물론 애니메탈 USA에서 폭싹 늙은 수준과는 비교불가
