그 이상을 넘보다. Ophis 입니다. 부르탈하고 묵직함속에 다소 건조하게 느껴지는 리듬이 다소 둠메틀 특유의 재미는 없지만, 화끈하고 짧게 내려찍는 스타일을 보여주는 앨범입니다. 보컬의 맛물림이 다소 산만하게 느껴질 수도 있지만 깊이 관여하는 편은 아니라서 따로 나눠서 들어보면 하나로 엮이는 모양새를 보여주면서 마치 각 파트별 나뉘어 진 듯한 연결점 때문에 템포전환이 빠른 편입니다. 변화를 꾀한건지 정확하지 않지만, 다음앨범에 대한 초석을 다져놓았다는 건 확실한 것 같습니다.
