storm warrior라는 밴드를 알 것이다....... 불과 몇년 전이지만..폭풍처럼 거침없이 질주하는 연주를 했던 밴드였던 만큼 키퍼씩 헬로윈아닌 walls of jericho씩 헬로윈사운드의 향수를 불러일으키는데에는 부족함이 없던 밴드였다 어떤게 순수 게르만메탈이냐에 대한 의견은 분분할것이다..하지만 뭐니해도 가장 공격적인 연주로 그 시대에 풍미했던 스레쉬메탈에 꼴리지 않았던 그 시절의 순수한 마초성 이야말로 본인은 진정한 게르만식 유러피안 멜로딕 스피드메탈 혹은 파워메탈이다라고 생각 한다... 유럽정서와 아시아쪽에 가장 대중적으로 잘 맞은 앨범이 아무래도 키퍼시리즈였고 키퍼시리 즈에 영향 아래 밴드들이 우후죽순으로 생겨났기에 데뷔앨범이 그늘에 가려졌을뿐이다 (물 론 그레이브 디거나 러닝 와일드같은 후배에게 지대한 영향을 끼쳤던 밴드는 많다..지금 소 개하고자 하는 밴드역시 이 밴드들의 영향을 받았을것이다. )
확실히 깜짝하고 사라진 그런 사운드였지만 여기 소개하고자하는 밴드 paragon은 2세대밴드 에서 고집하고 시도했던 다변화에 꼴리지않고...그 순수함을 그대로 이어갔던 밴드중 하나였 지만 어찌보면 매니아에서는 이미 평단이 자자했던 밴드이지만 스톰워리어보다는 국내에서 는 확실히 인지 ... See More
