최근 자유게시판을 보고 알게된 밴드 Persefone의 EP앨범. 보통, 처음 접하는 밴드의 경우 평점이 높은 작품을 접하는데 이번엔 가장 최근작으로 이 밴드의 정체성을 알아보고 싶어 이 앨범을 택했고 나의 이런 결정은 탁월한 선택이었다고 생각한다. 총 22분, 3곡이란 짧은 시간동안 제대로 취향저격을 당했다. 내가 원하는 Thrash/Melodic Death/Progressive의 삼위일체 모습이 어렵풋 보였기 때문이다. 또한, 각 곡들마다 중간중간 Periphery의 Juggernaut풍의 멜로디까지 느껴져서 인상적이었다. 이 EP앨범을 계기로 지금까지의 이들의 행보를 한 번 알아보아야할 필요성을 크게 느꼈으며 앞으로 발매될 2022년 앨범이 기대된다
