It seems to be a good avant-garde release ostensibly. But, I also think that it's the epitome of a surfeit of discordant instrumentation and stylistic intricacy. The Meshuggah-inspired drum works and scything tremolo guitar patterns make this album sound fascinating. However, the overflow of intricacy in sound and structure disrupts a fine listening experience. The musical style needs to be trimmed down in a simpler way to effectively display chaos and insanity.
