Sunstorm의 두 번째 스튜디오 앨범 House of Dreams는 전작과 비교했을 때 스타일적으로 거의 변화가 없다. 그러나 이러한 요소가 크게 흠이 되거나 하지는 않는다. 오히려 변치 않는 이런 스타일이 이 장르의 매력이라고 할 수 있지 않을까 싶다. House of Dreams는 그저 멜로딕 하드록과 AOR의 매력을 고스란히 전달하고 있을 뿐이다. 아마도 엄격한 평론가라면 이런 음악을 단죄할 것이다. 이 앨범에서 발전의 여지를 조금도 찾을 수 없기 때문이다. 멜로딕 하드록은 70-80년대에 Journey와 Foreigner 같은 걸출한 밴드가 이 장르에 이정표를 세운 이후로 거의 변화가 없다시피 했다. 그러나 이 분야의 음악을 즐기는 사람들이라면, 진지한 이들의 비판에 귀를 기울이지 않을 것이다. 나이를 무색케하는 Joe Lynn Turner 특유의 매력적이고 따스한 목소리가 시종일관 귀를 두드리는 이 앨범에 기꺼이 귀를 맡길 것이다. Joe Lynn Turner의 여전히 호소력 짙은 보컬과 세련된 멜로디와 감성적인 곡 전개는 멜로딕 하드록 팬들에게 여전히 어필할 요소들이 많기 때문이다.

5번 11번 발라드 강추. 일본반에는 stading tin the fire가 더 들어가 있다. 조린터너의 노래는 늘 호소력은 참 좋다.

Joe Lynn Turner is a killer vocalist formerly with Deep Purple and Malmsteen a great little gem added to my collection! 80's aor at its best!
