때론 메아리 처럼... Totalselfhatred 입니다. 구성자체가 템포조절이 상당히 잘되어 있으며, 대체로 간결함과 복잡함을 동시에 지니고 있어서 후반부로 갈수록 쉽게 늘어지지 않는 전개를 보여줍니다. 앨범커버에서 느껴지는 함축적? 의미하며, 밝은 톤의 멜로디에 반등하는 보컬파트의 충돌은 상당히 조화가 잘 맞는 편입니다. 짧고 여운을 남기는 파트별 하나하나 따져본다면 특히 보컬이 다 해먹는다? 식의 느낌은 많이 나는데, 보컬파트가 너무 적으면 쉽게 늘어지는게 있어서 조금 비중이 큰 편으로 보는 앨범입니다.

This album paints a fantastic landscape: a journey of wind swept mountain plains filled with disbelief, dissolution, anguish, and self absolution; reconciling the profound apprehension of emptiness and loss. Enlightenment, Ruoska, Sledge-Hammered Hart, and Total Self-Hatred fluently dominate the landscape.

DSBM을 이렇게 멋지게 만들어버리면 어쩌자는 건가. 자살하려던 사람도 이 음악듣고 바로 CD사러 가겠네. 밑엣분 말대로 1번은 진짜 압권이다.
