Very strong starting album, but starts to get a bit repetitive towards the end. Asteria is a decent finishing song.

Xandria je na hudobnej scéne od roku 1997, pričom prvé radové album vydali v roku 2003. Nové album "The Wonders Still Awaiting" je opäť postavené na príjemnom ženskom speve, ktorý dopĺňa mužský chrapák (growling). Po hudobnej stránke je to Melodický Symfonický Metal s občasnými prvkami Gotiky.

It starts getting more powerful toward the end of the album, but mostly just so-so for me. The lyrics are often cliché, but besides that nothing is particularly bad. The songwriting just didn't excite me much.
