Additional notes
After releasing the single "KONFRONTASI" in 2020 yesterday, this time it's Free Hit with a new formation, namely, Aldyra Yoga: Vocal, Tendik: Guitar, Faisal: Bass and Dedi: Drum, again releasing their newest single this year, namely: PRIMORDIAL. This material is actually from our second album which will be released at the end of next year. From a musical perspective, we are inspired by bands such as: Jinjer, Gojira, Adrenaline Mob. The process of composing this song was done at Straight music studio in Bojonegoro. This song is a different concept from the previous album, Noise Vol. 1, from a musical point of view, we experimented more with this song. With the new vocalist character, of course, it will add new passion and new colors for Gratis Strike in the future. This song is already available on our YouTube channel. This year we are busy collecting material for the second album, we want to present more colorful music.
Of course, with this new material, we also introduce our vocalist, Aldyra Yoga, at the same time giving a new passion and also a new color to our music, the presence of this vocalist is certainly an illustration of our music concept for the upcoming second album, this year we are busy collecting materials that are also ready recorded in a studio, the pandemic constraints that hit did not hinder our creativity in working. This year, Gratis Hit is exactly 7 years old since the band was founded in 2014. Changes in personnel also occurred in this formation, namely: our previous drummer, Refli, was replaced by Dedi, who previously was also a Free Hit member.
“We already have new material for the second album, and we want to give it a refresh, especially in terms of the vocal character of Free Hit. We want to make more thematic material and also a more conceptual album, an album that will be different from the previous album, and also have promos and tours. This Primordial song is also a testament to the general public about the existence of Free Punch who is still working, we also want to provide a new (work) in terms of sound determination, and also heavier, of course.”
