거의 90분에 육박하는 플레잉타임인데도 전혀 지루하지 않다. 1cd와 마지막 14,15번은 다 명곡. 멜로디컬하면서도 서정적이기도 하고 웅장하다.

버릴곡이 없다.

마스토돈의 최고작이 될 것 같다. 이 이상 어떻게 만들어.

Hushed and Grim combines metal & rock. Quite good album

Darkest record since Crack The Skye. Brann's voice sounds like almost possessed, hence driving me into their deep sorrow and temper. Melancholic tunes(probably done by Brent) are perfectly matched with groovy riffs(by Bill I guess), and both are wrapped with ingenious magic called drum and bass. A stunning top-notch work.

한시간 반이란 긴 앨범을 들어보면 충분히 러닝타임을 더 줄일 수도 있었을거란 생각이 드네요. 하지만 이들의 변화된 사운드에 오히려 이 긴 시간이 더 어울리기도 하네요. 그리고 보컬은 여전히 너무 좋습니다.

Cant eat nothing from this band

Great work from Mastodon. I like this double album from start to finish, highlighting songs like: Pain with an anchor, The Crux, Pushing the tides, Teardrinker, Eyes of serpents, Gigantium... Nothing is left over and there no filler on their longest album to date.
