Lyra's Legacy stands for sophisticated and melodious metal, which especially polarises through the extraordinary voice of chilean singer Bruno. The skillfull combination of classical metal elements with modern spirit and a dark-romantic atmosphere leads the audience to mystic places.
The five exceptional musicians who form Lyra's Legacy manage to strike a (perfect) balance between catchy songs and musical challenge. The band was founded in 2008 by Andreas Denz (lead guitar) and Markus Brune (Drums), they found another member in Tobias Breuer (Bass). Later they were joined by Nils Happel (Keyboards and vocals) who would have a significant influence on the sound of the band.
After careful selection, Bruno Vargas Scheihing, a college-educated opera singer, was chosen as the band's vocalist. His well-educated, remarkably deep voice is the key to the complete artwork.
