Alchemically the world unfurls in prisms dark and light
Through garnet incandescence as multi-facet is the night
Tones breathe through a woven web of starlight
As so many spirits in their vision take flight
The essence of understanding this world in its dark and light
For all of its invisible, and all within my sight
The tiniest shard of dark the light so truly needs
The light also needed by the dark, to really breathe
It is this balance which gives us our world
All of the wonders in their glory unfurled
