Hellish!!! Infernal!!! Confused!!!
미국은 MorriSound Studio 를 위시하고있는 Florida Death Metal Scene 이 상당히 강성했었다. 그것은 부인할 수 없는 사실이지만 Florida 가 아닌 Death Metal 에서는 상대적 미개척지인 New York 에는 Suffocation, Incantation 을 중심으로 群小的으로 New York Death Metal Scene 이 구축되고 있었다. Florida Scene 의 잘 짜여진 Death Metal 과는 다르게 뭔가 특별한 장치를 배치하지는 않았지만 혼란스러운 공포감을 부여하였다.
그런 Scene 을 이끈 Band 들 중 하나가 Immolation 이 있었다. 그 Immolation 의 本作에서 Tremolo 주법은 지옥의 분위기를 조성하고 비정형의 Solo 는 극도의 공포감을 불러일으킨다. 한 Tempo 뒤에 따르는 Drum 배치는 지속적인 긴장감을 유발하게 한다.
