We're in mid November and this album is my front runner for album of the year. Itis an exceptional piece of work. A different direction artistically for them. Instead of big prog metal riffs, they have relied on more of an old school prog approach, involving flute and strings. It is also a concept album with the lyrics written by other band members instead of the vocalist. I hope they continue to creatively explore this way. They are on to something.

This is a near perfect record and probably the one I listen to most on vinyl. It is just as amazing and enjoyable every time I listen to it.

Fates Warning truly finished their amazing run with possibly their best album. For the first time clocking in at we over an hour of music and reminding you the whole time why you were on this journey in the first place.

One of my favorite Prog Metal Records of all time

Just came across the absolute Gem of a record. It has about everything you'd want in a really good progressive metal record. This band needs and deserves a bigger audience.
