Mer de Noms

this is one of those albums that makes me wish i could slap a heart on the whole album the way they let you do with individual songs

An album with a lot of replay value, for me on random + repeat. I also find a lot of great post rock and post metal echoes this album a bit. I think it's an influential album, and it puts me in a 'loving life' kind of mood.

온통 물음표 투성이의 잘 이해가 안가고 별로인 음악

그냥저냥 나쁘지 않은 수작...만약 툴의 제임스 커넌이라는 딱지를 떼면 좋은 평가를 받을 수 있었을까? 잘 모르겠지만 거기에 대해서 긍정하고 싶진 않다.

신보 들어보고 다시 이 앨범을 집어들었는데 아무리 들어봐도 예전에 들었을 때랑 마찬가지로 별 매력이 없는 앨범같아요. 키넌 암 쏘리 벗 아이 캔트 언덜스탠

Although Mer de Noms isn't as heavy as Tool's early stuffs like Undertow and Ænima, Keenan's hysteric vocals and Howerdel's melancholic riffs makes this album catchy enough. The only question I got was what if Tim Alexander have played all tracks.
