가끔 쫄깃한 리듬에 취하고 싶을 때 들으면 괜찮은 작품이다. 다만 요즘 듣기에는 많이 단조로운 느낌이다. 좋은 음악은 많은 시간이 흘러도 보통은 매력적으로 들린다. 그런데 특정 시기의 유행을 지나치게 의식한 작품들은 오랜 시간이 지나면 매우 상투적으로 들린다. 이 앨범이 바로 그런 경우가 아닐까? 물론 발표 당시의 평은 좋았다.

It feels half-baked to me. The grooves feel good at many points, but I want to silence everything except for the guitar. I don't hear emotion - just edginess. I can't recommend this one.

Nu Metal 붐에 기여를 한 또 하나의 밴드 Coal Chamber의 데뷔작. KoRn처럼 무겁지만 흥겨운 멜로디와 비트가 가미되어 색다른 뉴메탈의 맛을 느낄 수 있게 해준다. Loco는 Coal Chamber를 논할 때 빠지면 안되는 명곡이다.

콘의 영향력 아래 댄서블한 리듬과 약간의 사이키델릭한 모습까지 첨가한 준수한 앨범이라 생각됩니다. 그중에서도 'Loco', 'Bick Truck', 'Clock'같은 Coal Chamber풍의 댄서블한 노래들이 좋아요.
