Darkthrone na novinke "It Beckons Us All......" ponúka asi najlepšiu hudbu vo svojej diskografii (alebo jednu z najlepších). Po hudobnej stránke kombinujú Heavy/Old school Black Metal a niekedy by som ich označil za Motörhead Black Metal -u.

개인적으로 어디에 포인트를 잡고 들어야할지 모르겠던 음반. 썩 괜찮은 리프들은 있지만 쿨토의 맛간 보컬과 의미 없이 반복되는 듯한 구성은 좀 아쉬웠다.

I usually don´t like Darkthrone that much, but I kind of enjoyed this album. Some songs are too long for their own sake but still a good listen.

Great heavy metal and thrash with still that hint of BM. Of the past 10 years, I think this one is 2nd to Old Star; really close in fact. Also, that cover art works fantastically with the theme, and its element of surrealism is mixed in perfectly. This album is a class act in many respects from the prolific veterans.

블랙메탈이라기보다는 둠메탈 음악이라고 보는게 맞는 것 같다. 모든 트랙들이 귀에 꽂히는 훅을 가진 리프들로 채워져있다. 특히 3,5번 트랙은 적당한 질주감과 미친 리프가 청자를 뒤흔든다.
