Every band has this type of work that shows the maturity and musical development of the band. This album is quite different from Ultra-Violence but still great. The ballads like "Veil of Deception" and "A Room With a View" are outstanding.

The most consistent and safest of Death Angel's original run. Interestingly, they add some acoustic Thrash in there, other than that it's pretty straightforward material.

듣기 힘든 별로인 곡들이 계속나왔지만, 몇곡으로 작품 전체를 평가 할수 없으니 꾹 참고 들었는데, 계속 취향에 맞지않는 어설픔만 이어져, 시간 아까운 생각에 끝까지 듣기 싫었는데도 여러번 집중해서 감상하지 않고 내리는 평가는 적절치못하다 생각해서 열심히 들었습니다. 평가를 위한 감상은 아니었지만 듣고 평가할거면 제대로 들어야한다고 생각합니다.

1집은 참 좋게 들었는데 불과 3년 사이에 조금 특이하고 재미없는 사운드가 되어 돌아왔다. 메이저 레이블로의 합류가 오히려 독이 된 것은 아닐까.....
