It is understandable that in a demo recording quality production is not the highlight. However, this album has huge potential, a potential that Joe Hawker would display two years later in They Became the Falling Ash. Absolution|Emptiness is obviously not as good as its successor, but if sound production were to be improved (remixing, remastering...), this record would be unquestionably amazing.
