This album sounds unorthodox and heterodox because it successfully blends thrash, death, and progressive metal elements and turns them into a harmonious musical form. You can easily find how this band unfolds their musical story with the aforementioned different elements in the first two tracks, which may sound a bit monotonous in structure. But it creates the continuation of a grim, dark, and unpleasant atmosphere which adds uniqueness to this album.
