Not very good. This debut is hopping on the Nu Metal train, but adding nothing and only playing decently.

I liked home a lot, and this is just as good but even heavier. I was surprised. Some tracks have some NIN-sounding industrial stuff tacked on before the song begins. Yes it was 1997, but that was totally unnecessary. Maybe some studio executive's fault. Anyway, awesome album.

Sevendust의 셀프타이틀 앨범이자 데뷔작. 뒤를 든든하게 받쳐주는 Vince Hornsby의 베이스 위로 Clint Loweryt와 John Connolly의 이펙터 빵빵한 기타에 드러머 Morgan Rose의 보컬, 그리고 이 밴드의 핵심인 아프리칸 메인보컬 Lajon Witherspoon의 매력적인 목소리는 이들이 떡잎부터 달랐다는 것을 증명하고도 남는다. Black, Too Close to Hate, Prayer, Speak 등은 반드시 들어보아야 할 트랙들
