Stormwarrior는 Thunder & Steele까지 해서 총 다섯 장의 정규 앨범을 발표해 왔다. 동명의 셀프 타이틀 앨범부터 본작을 발표하기까지 이들은 10년이 조금 넘는 기간을 활동했지만, 한결 같은 사운드를 유지해왔다. 초고속의 스피드와 뛰어난 멜로디가 가미된 밴드의 음악은 이들을 큰 성공으로 이끌어 내지는 못했지만, 일정한 숫자의 팬층을 만들어내는 데에는 성공했다. 그러나 이들의 변함없는 사운드에 때로는 박수갈채를 보내면서도, 초기부터 거의 같은 양식을 고수하는 이들의 우직함이 가끔은 눈살이 찌푸려질 때도 있다. 대중 음악을 업으로 삼는 이들은 변화하려는 자세를 보여야한다는 생각을 하고 있는 나로서는 사실 Stormwarrior 같은 밴드를 높이 평가하기는 어렵다. 그럼에도 이들의 작품을 꾸준히 듣는 이유는 Stormwarrior의 음악이 과거의 향수를 일깨우기 때문이다. Power Metal이나 Heavy Metal, Progressive Metal이든 거의 모든 장르가 요즘 복고를 외치지만, 시대가 시대인 만큼 모던한 느낌이 많이 묻어나는 작품들을 만들어 내고 있다.
