비 내리는 흐리고 습한 기운. The Howling Void 입니다. 3년의 기다림은 그야말로 둠메틀의 현재를 고스란이 담았다고 해도 되는 앨범입니다. 원키를 잡아가는 타입이 아닌 전반적인 칙칙함을 배경으로 해서 인지 전반적인 구도며 일반적인 올드함과는 완전한 거리는 두는 간격을 보이는데, 클래식컬함까지 전면부로 내세워서 흡사 말랑한 타입으로 들릴 수 도 있겠지만, 기다린 만큼의 레코딩은 아주 매끈해서 지루함 이라는 단점을 충분히 보완했다고 봅니다.
