vader는 오랜만에 들어본다. 요즘 개인적인 취향상 빡센 음악이라면 이렇게 30분짜리 앨범이 참 좋다는 생각이 든다. 물론 앨범을 구입하는 팬들에게는 좀 아쉽긴 하지만 말이다. 물론 2시디 버전(라이브 포함 대략 13분?)하면 그 아쉬움은 사라질 것 같다. 앨범의 음악성은 꼭 데스를 많이 듣지 않는 스래시 정도 듣는 사람에게는 적절한 밸런스로 말할 수 있다.

솔직히 앨범 자체는 진짜 진짜 잘만들었다고 생각한다. 일반 현역 데스메탈 밴드들 전부 다 압도하는 수준의 작곡력... 근데 이전 앨범들보다 속도감이 떨어진게 쪼금 아쉽다(1번, 3번트랙 제외) 그래도 언제나 나에게는 최고의 데스메탈밴드. 개인적으로 1, 6, 10번 트랙 추천한다.

데쓰레쉬(D 70%, T 30%) 앨범을 한결 같이 내주는 근성에 박수를 보낸다. 이앨범 역시 잘 달리고 지치지 않는 베이더 다운 사운드다.

Death를 기본 근간으로 하고 그 위에 쓰레쉬를 넘나드는 장르적 특성상 항상 평점이 높을 수밖에 없는 듯 하다 그러나 달리 말하면 어느 장르 하나에도 특별한 감흥을 못 준다는 약점이 있다.
