The band was formed in 2013 by members Alex Dimou and Manolis Karavidas under the name Hesperian. A couple months later, James Mansakorth joined as the vocalist and the band begun recordings for their debut album Chain of Balance.
A few months after the album was released, the band was renamed to Endless Affliction due to some legal issues with another band. Chain of Balance was re-released with a few improvements.
The band has received positive reviews by various critics and sites, some of them even saying: 'Phenomenal Compositions'.
