The best Nu metal album of all time. I don't really like the genre but this is a masterpiece! Great songs galore and I have to say that in addition to his talent, Serj Tankian is extremely entertaining at his job! Great album.

보컬이며 연주며 질리는 구석이 없다. 이런 참신한 뉴메탈을 봤나~ 번뜩이는 센스와 탄탄한 연주력 허를 찌르는 곡 구성, 드라마틱까지한 뉴메탈 수작이다. prison song, chop suey!, bounce, toxicty 를 좋게 들었다.

메틀릭한 사운드를 선호하지만 기타 솔로를 싫어하고, 한 곡의 길이가 평균적으로 짧은 앨범을 좋아하는 사람들에게 잘 어울리는 작품이다. 미국의 밴드이긴 하지만 멤버 구성 때문에 다소 이국적인 사운드적 접근도 발견할 수 있다. 대체로 누 메틀 계열 중에서는 꽤 완성도를 갖춘 앨범 중 하나이다.

쌈빡한 뉴메탈. 세간의 평은 압도적으로 이들의 최고앨범이라 칭송하고 있으나, 개인적으로는 데뷔작이 더 취향에 맞았습니다. 사운드는 큰 변화가 없지만 요상하게까지 느껴졌던 데뷔작의 신선한 느낌보다는 정갈하게 다듬은 티가 많이 나기 때문입니다. 약 20년전의 인터넷 세계에서도 이래저래 유명세를 탄 6번 이외에 즐겨들었던 트랙이라면 14번이 있습니다.
