9. Heirloom (8:45)
A sight through the pale looking glass
A winter cold room whispering sadness
Where the seed of my hope lies
Where the time whisper your name

I saw the world through your eyes
Whose innocence falls on us
I felt part of your pain and
Shared your need as they were mine
Being I, a part of your soul

And to sense how hard this could be
To live here deep inside your pain
I want to share the apathy which grows in you

I tend my arms toward the mirror
Just a piece of a reflected kindness
May my word and my mighty will
Be with my hereafter

I saw the world through your eyes
Whose innocence falls on us
I felt part of your pain and
Shared your need as they were mine
Being I, a part of your soul

And to sense how hard this could be
To live here deep inside your pain
I want to share the apathy which grows in you

Son, why do you cling to this corrupt world?
Some would settle for less, but not you
Duty of the afterglow, the glory of sunrise
Draped within a fate no one can change

I lend a hand and I can touch your fright
Half my heir is lost but half will rise
I felt part of your pain
To share your need as mine
Being I, a part of your soul

Son, why do you cling to this corrupt world?
Some would settle for less, but not you
Duty of the afterglow, the glory of sunrise
Draped within a fate no one can change
No one can change...
