Time, 1945 A.D.
Place, Italy

War World II is ahnost over. In Italy, the resistance,
with the help of the Allies, is freeing the country from
the kneel of Nazi-fascist oppression. The partisan
group known as Brigata Fulmine (Lightning Brigade) is
about to attack the fortified enemy position on Monte
Lancio (ncar Modena). The attack will be a success,
but the man leading it will not make it alive
