A Cycle Unending Lyrics

The thunderous sound
Of all
Existence
Crashing to a halt

The longer you gaze behind
The closer it creeps
The flesh is finite

Beyond time
The throne must sit vacant
Else no one could be crowned

Writhing mass
Of
Sentience
Lurches in all directions
Seeking that which occupies

The mantle of majesty
In an unreachable place
None can crown themselves

Abstract thought achieves abstract form

In a place where form can only exist as abstract concept
And time strangles the mind out of places it does not belong
Deadlines keep the masses moving
Discarded beings form...

Discarded beings form the mountain on which it climbs
The flesh is finite

The decay is not there to be seen but the cyclical climb
Leads foolishly to unbecoming

The more waste the more decay

Rotting
The sky grows no closer

The infinite expanse
Too dark to see
The goings on of beings such as me

The plight
Duty calls unending
Longing for the end
Of all things
