뉴클리어 블래스트 레이블에 소속된 유명 아티스트들을 모아모아 만든 두 앨범중 하나인 out of the dark 앨범이다. 이 앨범은 전작 In to the light 가 파워메탈인데 비해 멜로딕 데쓰메탈로 전개되고 있으며, 인플레임스, 소일워크, 디무 보거 등등의 유명한 익스트림계열 밴드들의 아티스트들이 참가하여 더욱 빛을 발하고 있다. 디스크 1은 새로 제자된 곡들로, 보컬이나 다른쪽의 세션으로 유명아티스트들이 참여한 부분이고, 디스크 2는 기존에 있던곡들을 리마스터식으로 바꿔놓은 곡들이다. 꽤나 훌륭한 앨범이지만 디스크 1번의 노래자체가 조금 지겨운 면이 없잖아있다.
