This album brought tears to my eyes. I was playing Wreckfest one day and all of a sudden I found myself listening to something I can only describe as "Sonata Arctica in their prime but with less wolves". That was Hurt, the best track on the album and their best track yet. The entire album is full of excellent songs and every single one of them makes me think about the old Sonata. These guys will go far. Excellent vocals, excellent melodies and good mixing for a debut album.

What a nice surprise. Shadowman, Through the Fire and After You're Gone are definitely the best tracks on the album AND on their entire discography so far. They really feel like something the original Sonata Arctica would put out and I'm ALL for it. There aren't as many gems as their debut album but this is MORE than enough to keep me satisfied for a few years and every other track is still VERY solid. Hopefully we won't have to wait that long again for another album!
