메탈리카는 2집부터 5집까지 명반이라고 생각하는데, 특히 이 앨범은 러닝타임을 맞추기 위한 적당한 곡이 없는 모든곡이 다 수준급이다. 컨셉앨범을 제외하면 명반이라고 하는 앨범들조차 몇몇곡에 의해 유지되는 경우가 많은데, 이런 이유 하나만으로도 이 앨범은 훌륭한 앨범이라고 생각한다. (머스테인의 공이 크지만...)

중기 오페스의 시작. 이 앨범부터 Watershed까지 총 7장을 입문자들에게 권하고 싶다 초기 2장은 어렵고, 후기 Heritage ~ In Cauda Venenum까지는 많은 변화가 있는 앨범들이니(헤비함, 그로울링 등) 먼저 7장을 들어보고 들어보는것도 좋을것 같다 (오페스 음악을 다 듣고 나면 어느샌가 카멜 앨범을 듣고 있는 자신을 발견할수도)
