처음에 블랙메탈로 시작했다가 90년대 후반~2000년대 초반에 들어 데스메탈로 회귀한 밴드들은 많다. 그 중 대부분은 불행히도 어정쩡한 앨범을 내놓아 많은 이를 실망시켰던 것도 사실이다. 물론 꼭 그렇지만도 않은, 매우 훌륭한 표본이 간혹 있는데 그 중 하나가 바로 이 앨범이다.
