Justifiably famous. Of course, everybody loves "(Don't Fear) The Reaper." "This Ain't The Summer of Love", "True Confessions", "Sinful Love and "The Revenge of Vera Gemini" are great too. It's also funny that Eric Bloom's vocals on "Tenderloin" invented the style used by ABC's Martin Fry five years early.

당시 키보디스트 알렌 리니어의 여자친구였던 펑크락의 여제 패티 스미스가 참여로 화제가 되었던 앨범이고 무엇보다 BOC전체 커리어 중 최고의 힛트곡 Don't fear the reaper가 수록된 것만으로도 이들 최고작이라 할 만하다.

부들부들하면서도 농염한 하드록으로 채워진 앨범. 올드한 사운드이지만 그게 맛입니다. 귀에 잘들어오는 트랙들이 많아 지루함도 없습니다. 앨범을 깊게 듣고 자세히 파헤치는것만이 옳은 감상이라는 것을 파훼해준 작품으로, 그냥 듣고 좋으면 그만이고 여러번 반복하며 좋은부분찾아 생각에 잠기는것 없이 단 한번들어도 행복할수 있다면 멋진 감상이겠지요.

Quite the album they've got here! The songs flow seamlessly and are all stupendously great. Sometimes I don't like the lyrics but all in all this is a really good hard rock album. Don't Fear The Reaper and E.T.I. are must listens.
